Ornamart is an e-commerce marketplace connecting buyers and sellers of traditional and fashion jewellery and ornaments, operating in India.

- Account information: Name, phone number, email address (optional), and profile photo.
- Address information: Delivery addresses, pickup addresses (for sellers), and pincode.
- Seller-specific information: Business name, GSTIN, bank account details (account number, IFSC), and identity/business verification documents.
- Payment information: Payment is processed entirely by Razorpay. We do not store card numbers, UPI IDs, or any raw payment credentials on our servers.
- Product content: Photos, videos, descriptions, and pricing uploaded by sellers.
- Order information: Items ordered, quantities, delivery details, and order status.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- App usage data: Screens visited, features used, and interaction patterns (used to improve the app).
- Location data: When you grant location permission (optional), we collect your device's GPS coordinates to auto-fill address fields and improve delivery accuracy. We store latitude and longitude alongside saved addresses. Location is accessed only when you tap "Use My Location" — we do not track your location in the background.
- Log data: Error logs, crash reports, and performance data collected via Firebase.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Razorpay: Payment status and transaction reference IDs (not raw payment credentials).
- Delhivery: Shipment tracking data and delivery status.

We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Process orders, payments, and shipments.
- Auto-fill address details when you use the "Use My Location" feature.
- Improve delivery accuracy by associating coordinates with saved addresses.
- Verify seller identity and business credentials (KYC).
- Calculate and process seller payouts and settlements.
- Send order updates, delivery notifications, and important account alerts.
- Resolve disputes, complaints, and support requests.
- Improve the Platform, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

- All data is stored on Google Firebase servers, which are encrypted at rest and in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
- Seller bank account and KYC data is handled with restricted access and used only for payout processing.
- We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
- No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Account data is retained as long as your account is active.
- Order data is retained for a minimum of 3 years for legal and financial compliance.
- Deleted accounts: Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records).

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
